À La Carte Cookbook, Encore! (English)

À La Carte is a cookbook with simple family recipes and heartwarming stories and 100 per cent of proceeds benefitting the Montreal Children’s Hospital. It is filled with recipes for easy-to-prepare dishes intended to give you more time with your families. But it’s more than that. It is also a storybook, featuring heartwarming stories from caring medical professionals at the Montreal Children’s Hospital, from young patients they have treated and helped and from parents of patients.

With Volume 2, we’ve continued to build on the same foundation of storytelling and community spirit. The recipes, contributed by home cooks, local chefs and volunteers who believe in the healing power of food and connection, are, once again, full of love. The stories are just as moving – real, honest and deeply human. They remind us why this project matters, and why we keep going.

While Volume 1 focused on simple, family-friendly dishes meant to bring people together around the table, Volume 2 includes cherished recipes passed down through generations – meals rich with memories and meaning.
